Yes, every Lumea device comes with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects.
Physical damage, water damage, or misuse (e.g. using the wrong attachment or ignoring the skin tone guidance) isn’t covered. Normal wear on the lamp cartridge after its rated flash count also isn’t a defect.

It depends on how much area you want to cover and your budget. Yes, all models include a face attachment, but always follow the included guide, avoid the area directly around the eyes.

IPL works best on lighter skin with darker hair, because the light targets pigment in the hair. It’s less effective on very light (blonde/grey/red) hair or on very dark skin tones, where the contrast needed for the technology to work safely isn’t there. The device has a built-in sensor that reads your skin tone and sets a safe intensity, if your skin tone is outside the supported range, it won’t activate, as a safety measure.

Most people describe it as a warm snap rather than pain, comparable to a light rubber-band flick. Sensitivity varies by area and person.

Yes, when used as directed. The device includes a skin tone sensor and safety lock specifically to prevent unsafe use. If you have a skin condition, are on medication that increases light sensitivity, or are unsure, check with a doctor first.
Unopened, unused devices can be returned within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. Once a device has been used, it can’t be returned for hygiene reasons, but it’s still covered by the 2-year warranty for defects.
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging, and we’ll arrange a replacement at no extra cost.
